This is one of the most popular braids styles around.
It was created by British artist and blogger Bridget McKenzie.
“I thought that a lot of people would find this braids look very appealing and that the style would be perfect for someone who has a big, curly hair and a little bit of a wild side,” she said.
Ms McKenzie began her braiding trend by braiding hair to make it more of a flowing style, with strands forming a braided braid.
“A lot of my clients would like to have a bit of extra volume in their hair and it can be difficult to achieve this, so braiding the hair and braiding a little more is the way to go,” she explained.
She braids her hair in two strands and then braids it again at the end to create the more flowing effect.
It also creates a really flattering braided look with a little volume and you can even use a little twist and pull to create some texture,” she added. “
It’s really hard to get a braid done properly without being messy, so I like braiding my hair with a bit more texture.”

The hairstyles have been worn by celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson and more.
